I could not move forward with this Empowered Women in Action work and continue on this journey of self-discovery without acknowledging the wonderful, honest, loving supportive people that continue to inspire me to live my best life.
First and foremost, I want to acknowledge my daughter Katie. She is the love of my life. Her beautiful, innocent, curious spirit continues to inspire me to stay connected with my own spirit and to keep searching for joy, fun and playfulness in all of my daily activities.
I would also like to acknowledge my former husband, Rob, who supported, encouraged and gave generously to help bring my early vision of Empowered Women in Action events to fruition. I am grateful for the years we shared together. He will always hold a special place in my heart.
There are some key women in my life without whose constant and never-ending love and support I would not be the women I am today. First, I want to acknowledge my mom who has always been there to love and support all of my dreams. My mom has cheerfully taken my daughter Katie overnight one day a week since she was a baby which has allowed me to have some much needed alone time to really focus on this journey of self-discovery. I am so grateful to have such a caring and supportive woman in my life.
A special sincere thank you to my beautiful, compassionate and loving sister. Her presence provides a constant source of unconditonal love in my life. From my sister I have learned how to have strength and composure while being gentle and loving. My sister is a model mother who is raising three wonderful daughters, caring for two dogs and working part-time while starting and running a new business – She is the epitome of an Empowered Women. I love you Sue.
My wonderful friend Liz who has been with me on this journey of personal discovery since I embarked on it over 10 years ago. This woman more than anyone in my life has been part of my transformation from the beginning. At various times she acts as a mother, sister, best friend, confidant and I am blessed to have her wonderful spirit guiding me on this journey. Liz has been my best cheerleader and has allowed me to open and grow with her gentle, loving wisdom. I love her and I am so grateful everyday for her presence in my life.
There are a few other key women that I have been blessed to have as coaches in this process without whose gentle guidance I would not have been able to take the steps necessary to live a life I love. Martha, Figen, Amy, Chris, Annie and Liz C - thank you for your continued stand for me in my life and for helping me continue to live my “Eileenness”.
To my wonderful “A-Team” of women who have been along with me on this inner journey – Joanne, Ginny, Marie, Elaine, Sabrina, Beth, Laura, Denise, Carol, Amy, Suzie, Suzan, Meg, Kristy,Wendy and Regina – Each of these women have held me when I cried, celebrated when a new task was completed and just stood for my vision fully and completely from the beginning. I love you.
Finally, to all of the wonderful women who have been along with me on this inner journey. If you have talked with me, laughed with me, just smiled at me from across the room or been in my energy field at any point in my life I want to personally thank you. Your spirit has contributed to my personal growth and well-being.
